Family Day to CALM

I have been wanting to plan a trip to CALM for a while now. However, the weather has not always corporated with my plans. Hopefully October will bring some cooler more enjoyable temperatures! So on Saturday October 10th, 2009 at 3:00 pm all the Mommy Mob families are invited to take a trip to CALM. The admission is only $7.00 for adults and children under 3 are free! Hopefully this can be another day where our families can meet and get to know each other better !!!

It's A Family Affair !!!

Us moms have come to know each other pretty well over the past year or so. And our children's faces are starting to light up when they see there little friends! It has been great getting to know new people and starting fun, dependable, life long relationships with everyone. I think it's time to have the dads join in on the fun! A few of them have already met, but not everyone. I thought the first step would be to set up a family night. My first thought was Chuy's because of the interesting ambience...the kids have a ton to look at. Also we wouldn't have to worry about the kids or us getting to loud. Due to everyone's demanding work/social schedule I have planned two family nights at our local Rosedale Chuy's. This is all in hopes that everyone who wants to join has the opportunity to! You and you family can pick which day works better for you or your welcome to come to both. The first family night will be this coming Monday, September 21st at 6:00 pm and "hosted" by Lindsey. The second will be Saturday, September 26th at 11:30 am and I will be there for that one. So, hopefully everyone can make it to one or the other or both!

A Night Out for Us Mom's

The first of many...many.... mom's night out went very well! We laughed, had good conversations, ate some yummy (sorry....this is a mommy blog, but I can use grown up words :) how about delicious food, and had all different kinds of beverages!!! Hopefully next time more mom's can join us !

Ok, ladies you voted and BJ's it is! I will go at about 6 pm to get us a table. If I counted everyone, there will be 8 of us :Myself, Lindsey, April, Hilari, Lacie, Jamie, Kara, & Kira! I don't know about you all .....but I am super excited for the night out! See you all tomorrow night at 6:30pm (More or less....we all know how our babies love to make us late!!!)

Our 1st Mobster Meeting is in the Books!

Well, Mommy Mobster's the first play date was a success! The kiddo's played and we talked each others ears off!!! For those of you who couldn't make it....we missed you & there's always next week! Same time.....Same place (for now!) Here are some pictures from the afternoon!

We all LOVE our wee-ones to death......BUT, we do need some adult interaction and socialization with out changing poopie diapers, feeding or mixing formula, and being spit up on. With that said we decided to plan a Mom's Nite Out for next week, Wednesday, Sept. 9th at 6:30 pm. Hopefully it will be a fun evening out with the ladies!
